I was drafted into the 71 regiment on l/6/41 The regiment had just returned from N.Y.State maneuvers- Then they were placed with the 114 Inf. of N.J. with the newly formed 324 Infantry Regiment to become the 44 Division in WW2 --lganiel@aol.com
