The tiara is too closely associated with Princess Alexandra for a possible 2nd wife of Joachim to wear it! I am sure that there would be an outcry in Denmark if the tiara was taken from Alexandra for a 2nd wife of Joachim to wear! Most people probably think that Alexandra deserves the tiara...given the hard work she has done and continues to do for Denmark.The tiara will most likely be passed on to Nikolai and Felix...so it will remain in the royal family! Maybe for this same reason...a new tiara was brought for CP Mary for her personal use! The ruby and diamond parure belongs to CP Frederik so that can never leave the family! I am sure that the DRF will safeguard historic jewels in the future and will ensure that from now on, no more family jewels will pass out of the family!
