Posted by Glenn on 7/29/2006, 12:08 pm, in reply to "Diamond necklace Queen Alexandrine" both princess benedike and queen anne-marie have collet or rivere necklaces - and i know that benedikte's was a present from her father who had bought it for her! most likely anne-marie's has been bought for her aswell. when queen alexandrine died some of her jewels went back to her family - there could have been a necklace in this lot or she would have used it later in life to transform into other pieces of jewelry as she was not seen with it in her later years or it could have been inherited by prince knud who could have used it for other pieces of jewelry :o)
