I live in Anchorage, Alaska, and hunt ducks & geese off the Susitna River and other areas. I am interested in a Small Munsterlander. Have you placed any in Alaska? I am not a breeder. We have a Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland dog who is fantastic, but she is not a hunter or retriever. The typical ponds that we hunt are usually 2 to 4 feet deep. Occasional tidal currents through the sloughs. Sound to you like a SM might fit?
