I have a 6yr old dog I purchased from Joseph sired by Prince and Amsil . I live in southern Louisiana and hunt woodcock , ducks and geese , rabbits and quail with my dog . This is the only dog I own today . I was brought up on retrievers . I have to say that this dog I bought from Joseph has changed my life . Thanks to him advertising the breed in a national dogs magazine I may have never found the breed . I am a supporter of the breed for life . My dogs call name is Cletus the name Joseph gave him is Ducky Vonder Bellerburg. I natural ability tested Cletus he received a na prize 3 . The only test I ever ran him in . He is just my personal hunting dog . I am yet to find a more loving obedient hard working hunting dog . He is almost 7 yrs old and still refines his hunting skills on a regular basis . I have never seen a breed or dog do this . His newly acquired skills include blood trailing wounded deer and he will even hunt squirels . He is truly the dog of my lifetime .
