Small Munsterlander Puppies born on August 6, 2002. Echo had 6 females and four males. Our female, Echos (Goschs Amarriah, SM 0235) was bred to Fez (Jumbo vom Tecklenburgerland, SM 0673). Echo scored a NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize III (96 points), is OFA Excellent (MU-136E24F), and is elbow dysplasia free (MU-EL4), and has a normal temperament. Echo is a cross of the Sengpiel and Dejong lines, the two most established, recognized, and awarded lines in North America. She is hunted extensively on wild Iowa pheasant and quail. The sire, Fez, is a direct German import. Fez is owned by Dean Rasmussen of South Dakota and is one of three of Deans dogs that were featured on Birddogs Forever on the Outdoorlife Network airing on 2/9/02. Fez scored a NAVHDA NA Prize I (112 points), is certified Hip Dysplasia free by PennHip (Left: 0.48, Right: 0.35), and has a normal temperament. Fezs sire scored a VGP 342 in the German testing system; this is an outstanding score! Fez is also hunted extensively on waterfowl and upland birds in South Dakota. This is a repeat breeding of our March 2001 litter. The 2001 litter has qualified for a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award and a Small Munsterlander Club of North America Breeders Award. Four out of 11 puppies were NAVHDA NA tested and all passed with scores of 80, 102, 102, and 112. They were all swimming and several were pointing by 6.5 weeks old. Most of the 2001 litter was out in the field hunting this past season with tremendous results, references available. Loving, hunting homes are strongly preferred with NAVHDA testing encouraged. This is a Small Munsterlander Club approved breeding. The puppies are $1000 each picked up shipping is extra.
