Small Munsterlander Puppies: Our female, Abbey (Davis Abbey, SM 0885) was bred to our stud, Whip (Brian Boy v Omeara/Sengpiel, SM 0185) on May 5, 2003. Puppies should be due during the first week of July 2003. Abbey scored a NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize III (94 points), is certified Hip Dysplasia free (PennHip Left: 0.38, Right: 0.33, 70th Percentile), and has a normal temperament. Abbeys parents were both imported from Germany and are excellent hunting dogs. Abbey is hunted extensively on wild Iowa pheasant and quail. She has excellent pointing instinct and is very good at finding birds and tracking and retrieving wounded game. This will be her first litter. The sire, Whip, is a product of the Sengpiel line, one of the most well known and decorated lines of Small Munsterlanders in North America. Whip scored a NAVHDA NA Prize I (112 points), is certified Hip Dysplasia free by OFA (MU-130G29M), Elbow Dysplasia free (MU-EL3), and has a normal temperament. Whips sire Jeiko vom Jakobsbrunnen (Fritz), was the first SM invited to the NAVHDA Invitational and was the SMCNAs Dog of the Decade. Whip is hunted extensively on pheasants and quail, has excellent pointing instinct, has an excellent nose, and has been the foundation of our hunting dogs since we got him in 1996. He has produced 4 previous litters with some excellent results. Loving, hunting homes are strongly preferred with NAVHDA testing encouraged. The application is pending to make this a Small Munsterlander Club approved breeding. The price $700 per pup.
