There are less than a dozen breeders that have had more than one or two litters. Most breeders I know strive to place their puppies into hunting homes. The biggest reason for this is that they are hunting dogs, they will hunt whether you take them or not. If you don't, then there is a chance that they will get into trouble. No matter how much they like being around the family, I believe they are only truly happy when they are out in the field. Hunting dogs need to be hunted for the good of everyone involved.
