Posted by Al on 30/5/2006, 12:08:15, in reply to "The Cabinet" If Sam wants to see to the goats I think it's best to let him get on with it and not enquire too closely. It's not really any of the Cabinet's business as long as the goats in question are adults. Live and let live - that's what I say (mind you, I've suddenly gone off the goat stifado!). Who said you've been stripped of the Foreign & Ethnic Affairs brief? No, that's still your main job, wouldn't want to waste your talents would we? The Grumpy Professor role is part time, as demanded by the Cryptologist-In-Chief and yes, you do have to run around Symi and yes, the snogging is mandatory. I'm thinking of including it as a special event during the Symi Festival (Note to Sheila:- contact Sunshine to fund the gin account - he'll understand). Minister for Culture - damn, forgot that, thanks for reminding me. I'm not closely acquainted with Miss April and I'm not sure I'm qualified to evaluate her credentials so I guess I'll have to take your word for it. Culture is an important job with the Festival and everything so do you think Miss April can manage it along with her other interests? Perhaps we could get someone to give her a hand? I was thinking of someone from a country famous for its culture and fine arts but since you already have two jobs that only leaves Kon. Do you think he'd hit it off with Miss April?
Yes, I was a bit worried about the treasurer's post but thought that on balance Sunshine seemed best qualified, with him having his own moneybox and everything. Besides, don't you think a Scot might be a tad too tight with the dosh? We have the Cabinet Cocktail Cabinet to keep stocked you know and with the appointments we've already made that isn't going to be cheap! ![]()
Meanwhile.. I'm trying to put together the final list of appointments in between packing (Yippee!!). I'll post it in a while.
