Posted by Keith Theres more. Breaking news (* chuckle). A little while ago I bought a pack of Camel Rare. 20 cigs in a black tin box with Gold Lettering. Said to be "2002 Special Edition". Its part of the Camel Exotic cig line which, according to the convenience store clerk, includes mint, vanilla and orange flav. cigs. The clerk, a heavy smoker, recommended the Camel Rare (she got to sample all the various Camel Exotic flavs when they came out). She said that Camel Rare is more of a "traditional cig" (i.e. regular flavor). As I write this, I am lighting my second Camel Rare - in the interest of being accurate - . . . When you open the tin, they smell sooo goood. The lighter clicks and the first draw is easy. Very satisfying - and not punishing to the throat. Slightly more sweet than the Dorals I normally smoke. They leave the room with a less heavy aroma than my Dorals. They also leave the breath (& one's tastebuds) with a more sweet aftertaste than what I have been smoking. The Camel Rare is not bad at all. This sampling of various cigs is fun. Big thanks for the Max Methol 120 recommend. I still have not been able to acquire the Fantasia cig you mentioned. BTW, have you tried American Spirit? The convenience store clerk did not have any but thought I might enjoy them. In a moment, I am going to fire up my third Camel Rare - but left my lighter in another room. Samantha, would you mind doing the honors?? Keith

Samantha, I have taken your Max Menthol 120's recommendation. Big thanks. At first, I was dubious since I have not smoked any "flavored" cigs for yrs. (Yup, just regular flavor). But you were right, the 120's were good. Very good. I smoked one after dinner last night and immediately (well, a few minutes later actually) smoked another. My impression is: mint tastiness - but not so minty that it was too "sweet". Not overpowering to the tastebuds and throat. And, (you were right) good tobacco flavor did come shining through - especially with a deep drag. I plan to smoke two more after lunch today (dessert!!)
