Posted by John Marsh Been working on researching what I can do legally to stop the Trademark Infringement that ABCig.com is instituting on ABCigs.com. As usual.... nothing. lol. I called a few lawyers, and got the same each time. I could file a Domain Dispute with the Registrar, but this could end up costing roughly $5,200.00, and all I would be awarded is the ABCig.com domain. Problem is, the same company that owns ABCig.com also owns the Registrar and Hosting Companies. The other alternative would be to file Federal Common Law Infringement (43a), and Cyber Squatting (43d). The problem here is that typical litigation in these types of lawsuits usually rack up attorney fees in excess of $200,000.00. So, for now all I can do is grin and bear it. It's unfortunate that people will stoop to the level that ABCig.com has done just to try and get an edge. Anyways, other than that, things have been going pretty well. Got some big news (that I forgot to mention to Eddie on the last post)... I have a son now! He's going on 5 months old now. He was born on July 15th, 2003. Coincidentally, that is also the same day that my Father passed away back in 1995. We ended up naming him Austin Keith Marsh, as Keith was my Fathers middle name.
