Posted by Keith on February 20, 2004, 4:17 pm Well, I have just finished a pack of Dunhill International Filter De Luxe. Made in England and, according to the box/pack "created . . .to be the world's finest cigarettes." I don't know about being the world's finest cigarette, but Dunhill was nice for a change. Not sure whether or not I will purchase another pack. The taste of this non-menthol cig was fine - kind of on the mild side - certainly not rough or "strong". While it is satisfying, in the sense that it more than satisfies the average nicotine craving, somehow, I found it to be a bit wanting in, shall we say, "something extra special." To me, the Dunhills were kind of an average, nice smoke. Nice for a change, but, perhaps, time to move on to something else. So, don't know what I might try next. Something nice and strong interests me. Fortunately, the local convenience store has, for some reason, started adding cigs not previously available here - such as Nat Shermans Black and Gold, Dunhills, etc. One of the ladies who works there samples different smokes occasionally and sometimes helps steer me in the direction of something new and different (such as the Dunhills). I think she is kind of fascinated to see me come in, buy a carton or two of my regular cigs, and then take time to ask questions about the "new arrivals", examine the packs, etc. Take care and post soon!!
