There was a lot of mint. Strong and I could definitely see why some people say they are quite addictive. While dragging you really didn't need to drag as hard as I've often done with Marlboro Light 100's. What I didn't like...well there's an after taste that lingers for quite a long after you've finished with the Newports. It's kind of like having bad breath. Overall..they are nice and I'd definitely smoke them again, but for them becoming a permanent fixture in my smoking plan...probably not. Now RonnieBear has found a new smoke shop that is close to home and hands out samples...he came to have lunch with me at work the other day and brought a couple of new packs with him to try out. One of them called "Rave" and the other was "Smoker's Choice", packaged just like little cigars. Both quite interesting and would recommend them...they are what most qualify as generic. RonnieBear came home with a pack of Newports after the neighbor shared her Salems with me. So we tried them...and it took a couple of them to really get the test completed. This was my findings on that.
