I remember my old friend and shipmate Walter!!
I hope he is doing well. I served aboard the Halfbeak from 5/12/56 to 7/12/59. I made 2nd class Electricians Mate on old No. 352.
While looking through my archives, I found the pictures of SS352 that were taken while we on a Med. cruise. SO, I checked the internet and there you were! Walter & I became "Blue Noses" during our trip to the North Atlantic 9/25/57. Remember Captain White? He was replaced by Captain Wolf. We all like Captai Wolf, he seemed like "one of the guys" I also found on the net the Halfbeak was scraped in 1972. Rest in peace old 352.
Say hi to Walter for me!!
