I would think getting together while he's in town would be the worst thing you could do to yourself. IMO, if a man won't give you 5 mins. when he's 1000s of miles away, then is interested in you when he's in town, that's a bad sign for the relationship. That's not love, its convenience. Seeing him is ok, dating him... I'd advise against it. However, you know this boy better than me, and you have to live with the decision, just try to make one that you won't regret (I've made plenty of those!). Emailing is great! It can help you resolve your feelings about being dumped in a crappy, crappy way, and can be an asset to you (much like this website) for future relationships.
