I hitched a ride with a friend of mine to attend the same high school as her. However, that high school was also the best school in the state. So perhaps his education is more important to him than a girl he liked. From what you've said that he's said, he seems to have liked you a good bit. However, feelings chance. While your entire life for the past few years has been filled with romantic feelings for this boy, his life was filled with other experiences such as school, his friendships, and any girls he may have dated. You feel like you are unworthy of his love, and that he would look down on you if you approached him. Well if he does, then he is a snob, and doesn't deserve the intensity of love that you have for him. I know this would be hard to accept, but while you'll never get over this boy, like any scar, it gets better with time. If you need more advice, you can read some of the other posts I have made on this forum, or reply to the messages I've sent to begin a correspondance. Whatever you choose, I wish you good luck and Godspeed.
Love isn't an on or off thing. There are degrees, stages of love. And an infinate number of graduations between each.
