Posted by Nancy I am 22 years old. I have put all of my dreams and hopes into him. He still wants to be friends. He tells me that he still loves me and cares about me. He just wants me to stop focusing on him and do the things that I need to do. It would have been all fine and dandy until I found out that he is pursuing another woman. I told him that I could not be friends with him and that we had to stop seeing eachother all together. He is not ok with that. He told me to take as much time as I needed off but to come back to him when I am not emotionally crazy about the break up. He says that he wants to be with me but not now. He wants to make sure that we are meant to be. Is it all just a bunch of bullshit?

I have been in a relationship for the last seven years. Most of it was long distant. Recently he broke up with me and insisted that we take the time and grow as our own people. He has been away and has graduated college whereas I have lived in my parent's house and have never really expirenced what it is like to live out on my own.
