Posted by TJ on 7/15/2005, 7:29 pm Im 19 and I was wondering what a girl's opinion on my situation is. I've been friend with a girl from work for over 2 years now. The first year I knew her we only saw each other at work but last summer I asked her if she would like to go see a movie sometime and we did, it wasn't a date or anything. Then this past March I asked her if she wanted to start dating and she told me that for right now she wanted to just remain friends. So i tried to get used to that and sort of did but all the while I still wanted to go out with her. Now we see each other outside of work more often, I helped her move out of her apartment, we talk to each other when we have problems and all that kind of stuff. It seems we do more just by ourselves as opposed to with a group of people. I just recently wrote her a letter telling her that I still want to go out but am willing to wait until she's ready, if ever. So I was wondering what a girl's opinion on this is. Is there something that i have to do or am doing thats not making her come around, like she treats me different then all her other friends, its almost as if in my eyes we're unofficially dating. There's some days when we both work that we dont really say to much to each other like theres some kind of tension between us but then the next day its like we're best friends again, its kind of weird. What's your opinion on this. Is there a surefire way to get this girl to come around?
