Cheers Chad, the guys I fish with generally produce gurnard from that spot, just visible on the right edge is Ninepin Rock and a little further up is Paratutae Rock, both produce good sized kings and have massive tidal flow.
If I can get a livie, I'll give sliding a crack.
Will also endeavour to fish further along the coast and see what produces
