A local living besides Snappa park, landed a very healthy 12.5kg (27lb) Snapper yesterday avo at Gill rd, im picking the bait was Octopus, as i no the angler , and thats nearly always what he baits up with. Strong West norwest forecast for the weekend, so the Kontiki boys will have the greatest chance at snaring one, but look to MIDWEEK, with evening tides and a sea breeze, could be an early BIG RED rod capture on the cards. Clifton Teawanga, or Lekane nthshore rd, where out of those likely beaches will they be snared?.
