Ive used a ninty mile rig exclusively for the past few years cause I didnt trust a pulley rig to show me a bite on the rod.
Last night used a pulley rig for the first time, landing 2 lemonfish using crab baits, and mate no problems with seeing the bites there!
I reckon there is less strain on the imp clip with the pulley rig and you're less likely to drop the hook in mid flight than with the 90 mile. It also felt more solid in the cast.
When under tension on the bottom both must present the bait exactly the same and I figure if its not showing me a bite then the fish cant be that big/interested anyway.
