Of course with something new there is room for improvement but it was a good event, except the goddam coutta wouldn't show up because we wanted them. The only bugger moment was me landing a 10.585kg Snapper on a field weekend when it is worth nothing. Thems the breaks. A big congrats to Rex M for winning the dinner for two at "Welcome Stranger" in Clive, Duncan for winning second place and Kevin for taking out third. Sue Kemsley for the heaviest Kahawai and our Club President Mr Parahi for the heaviest coutta. All these prizes courtesy of our local FCO. So ends another Pania SCC season, we have tried some new and innovative ideas for our comp. season again and I thank everyone and I mean all our clubbies who have turned out and had a lash Nige. I think we have had a lot of fun. So to this end, if you live in the Hawkes Bay and you would like to join a surfcasting club we would love to have you on board.
