I was setup by Neil he helped me set that rod up. The reel seat I use is to flat for the reel I was using and did not go into the front shoe properly. These are fun things that happen when you push the limits . The main thing is that everyone had a good laugh. I now chalenge someone to beat my effort.

'Cos you're always the one snickering in the corner looking guilty! Having a giggle at this one Phill. Even Natalie saw the funny side in it, although she was concerned about your reel. I'm still laughing.

Similar thing happened to me haha, Except only my spool went flying :O Did you get a re-cast Phill???

The amazing thing was the line just peeled off the reel like normal. The reel is ok, the cast was crap and no I didn't get a recast. There appears to be a connection between Neil helping me and me having a disaster.

This could be a new category for you throwers and chuckers. Reverse reel casting....... Phil you now hold the world record . Neil will be green with envy . He'll be plotting the backward Ziplex throw as we speak.
