had my surgery on Friday. I came home today and am feeling tired but glad it's done. The drs. said that the surgery went well and the sln looked good. the nurses all said that the drs. did a great job. I was afraid to look but when I did it wasn't as bad as I expected. I was diagnosed with DCIS and had 2 lumpectomies, both times told that there were no calcs. left. This was inevitable but at least it was caught very early and the dr. said my prognosis is 99% cure rate. Told that I won't need chemo if the node is neg. I'm so glad it's over. It was stressful anticipating
