Hi everyone.
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. In October I had two lumps removed from my left breast, I was thankful they came beck negative and put breast cancer to the back of my mind.
About two weeks ago I found another lump in the same breast not thinking much of it but to clear my head of it I made an appointment with my family doctor, who stated that the lump was odd and immediately sent me to an oncologist.
Well, still being the optimist I went to the Oncologist who I am sorry but scared the heck out of me.
He stated that I did have a tumor and that it was an odd shaped tumor it is the size of a quarter and wanted me to scedule surgery immediately, also scheduled a bone scan, MRI and CT Scan with contrast.
He stated to me that I will more then likely be losing my breast and will have to have chemo and radiation.
I am scared to death, This tumor grew in a matter of 6 weeks and I think that how my doctor reacted scared me even more.
Any advice or information will be greatly welcomed.
Anyone having a bone scan if you could let me know what that is I would be greatly happy
Thanks for listening or reading
Deb
