A lot of how you will feel will be your attitude.
I had my surgery just 10 days ago on July 28th.
I also had 17 nodes removed at that time. I also choose to have both removed. I am sore. I feel like there is a big piece of tape wrapped around my underarms. I still have one drain tube and as soon as that is removed I will be free. I will have to do both treatments. Chemo and Radiog. I go to the oncoligest next week to map out my treatments. My family has been great. Everyone has gone to all my appointments with me to see how this will work. I think this is important not to shut anyone out. No hiding either! There is no where to run and hide. This will follow you. So except it and run with it a a new chore in life. The idea is to beat this and LIVE.
