Were you quarantined to your bunk until the ship got back to Newport?
We had a submariner come aboard in the FER cause he flunked or was discharged for some reason from Sub school. Perhaps the
rigors of underwater escape and rescue training. Anyway Robbie Roberson was a nice guy, but ALWAYS got sea-sick after getting
underway and leaving the canal or river and entering the rolling, rolling of the ocean. So comical now....he used to carry a bucket
around with him and the minute we hit a little rock & roll, he would upchuck, and stay seasick for a long time...........you had
to feel sorry for him.
