westjet is a horror show, don't be fooled by their marketing. I know staff members, and their pay reflects it. although, I agree that the idea is a step in the right direction. You can't have old school management with a 'young' new school staff though. it will never work. just like the reason there are no 52 year old captains or f/o's with west jet.. all young go getters..
