Yeah, hiring fairs definately are an effective way to hire a lot of people (read:scabs) quickly. This friends, is most definately for the reserve army. With a hire date of April 8th, they can probably spend two weeks or so training them (SIPS For Dummies), putting that right around the date the union expects to announce the ratification results.
