Did you know that the president of the new 1 local has retired from BRI. With this retirement comes a pension that is more than any parttimer makes no matter how many hours are worked. What is really interesting is the fact that he has decided to remain on as president as well as negotiate our next collective agreement.So this means as well as negotiating our futures after his is arranged he is collecting his pension from BRI,as well as a salary from us.
