Right now I'm working extensively on it, removing the action from the frame, making it a handmade portable electric piano, borrowing what I've heard about the Yamaha CP series. I'll definitely keep the pickups installed in it, but as far as the amplifier is concerned, I don't know. It's really heavy. I might try to construct a seperate amp that's integrated into the piano to make it gigable.

I've found this much out. I only heard one very short comment about my particular model, and it didn't say much. Someone was talking about some musician or actor, and saying that they saw a brief scene where he was playing a Eavestaff Mini Piano with electrics; amp, pickup. He considered it the first electric piano, but I don't know. I think it must have been manufactured in the 1950's or 60's.
