Posted by Hans Cosmetically the piano is a bit worn, with the Tolex completely missing on the lid above the hammers, but inside it is in great shape. And it sounds amazing compared to a CP-70. The other issue is that I don't have the correct cable to test the MIDI but I believe it should be an easy soldering job to create the correct cable. It's MIDI implementation seems to be before the standard 5-pin cable that's in use today. I do believe, however, that creating one should be no problem, it's MIDI out is a tip, ring, sleeve and creating one should be as easy as figuring out which pins accept what signal on a standard 5-pin MIDI cable and then soldering them to the correct tip, ring or sleeve. All said, the previous owner said the MIDI worked, he just lost the cable because he never used it. The sustain pedal assembly is a little worn as well but it works fine with the right adjustments. So, this is a little bit of a project if you need MIDI, but well worth it for that incredible sound. If you don't want to use MIDI this piano is ready to go with a tuning. Please contact me with questions or for pictures. I'm located in Minneapolis and this would need to be picked up unless you know of a way to ship an enormous 300+ lb instrument. Thanks!

This is a really great piano. It is much like a CP-80 but with Midi and Helpinstill pickups. I really regret to sell this thing as it sounds much better to me than my CP-70, more realistic with more pickup positions to choose from, but I'm moving and need to get rid of some of my keyboard collection.
