If your Wurlitzer is a tube model, then you have a little wiggle room, if it is a solid state, the oms of the speaker(s) has got to match the oms output of the amp. Hope this helps, if not send me an email and i will send you a copy of speaker wiring diagrams.
ie: 2- 8 oms speakers= 4 oms
2- 8 oms speakers in series= 8 oms
