Helpinstill Roadmaster 88 ($1,200)
Mid-1970s - early 1980s
Location: Phoenix, AZ
88 Key acoustic piano designed to fold up for transport and fitted with Helpinstill's acclaimed pickups. These were uprights, built into aluminium flightcases on casters with fold-away keyboards and sustain pedals. Struck strings; traditional piano action with soundboard; electromagnetic pickups.
The case has some wear and tear, but it is in good condition. The piano needs to be tuned (hasn't been tuned in years). The sound board is in good condition. The pickups work well. It has both a 1/4" and a balanced input jack (both work), with a volume control knob. The volume control only works with the 1/4" jack.
It is heavy (300 to 400 pounds), so local pick up would be best. Contact me for pictures or if you have any questions.
