Anyone here know if the hydraulic arm attached to the center of the keybed is meant to provide support / pressure up under the keyboard in the locked up position?
More detail .... The action plays fine at the ends (treble and bass) but in the center there is insufficient key depth. As though the key balance rail was warped downwards. Of course I can adjust the arms that hold up the keyboard in the treble and bass, but not in the center - the arm in the CP60 we have is loose in the up position - it only provides cushioning when lowering the keyboard. If you have a CP60 does your center arm support the keyboard in the up position?
I appreciate any answers I might get on this ... I would like to avoid reregulating the action if at all possible! Ainslie
