Well, screen resolution was soooo easy. Configure Computer > Hardware > Set up Graphical Server > Resolution, pick what I want, reboot, 2048x1536 just like that. That's ROOM! 
But rpmdrake tells me I have 708 MB of updates waiting. That's more than the ISO :^>. Tomorrow! I just hope all that doesn't break something.
