Well, I have run into two problems with Cooker 2009:
1) Root login isn't allowed, and I can't bring up Dolphin/Konqueror/Kwrite using kdesu or in a root terminal. I've put that question on the Cooker forum.
2) There's an odd problem with Opera. It freezes frequently, especially on sites like YouTube. It also freezes on advertising sites even though I'm using both Privoxy and a hosts file from onine. It freezes, and then proceeds after maybe a minute, but sometimes never. This is true for v 9.6b1 and p.52, both with the Mandriva packages and the static rpm packages. Firefox works fine.
Right now I'm getting Tomboy and the KDE packages (I have the base packages but am missing stuff like kate).
