Finally! Linux is moving into a position from which is can obliterate Windoze: There's a distro out now which eliminates the command line. It's contained in one of those new netbooks (sorry Psion) which are shipped with Linux and are cheeeeeeep and they "just work".
Maybe in future they will have an option to use the command line if the operator insists, but also the machine can be operated totally without.
