Where you'd put the battery, I think. Usually the engine is mounted in front so that the largest mass is in front of you, offering protection in a collision.
If you mount the battery there, it would be most vulnerable to smashing and shorting. The good thing is that everyone would be killed instantly leaving no injuries. The bad thing is that it would leave a lot of sad friends and relatives behind.
Lead acid batteries would (or could) soak the victims with sulfuric acid which is horribly scarring. LiIon batteries explode when they contact water, and so this too, could result in added injuries.
With gasoline you get the fires but not often unless the accident is severe enough to rip the tank apart. The movie pyrotechnics don't really happen.
With a super capacitor I can't see an explosion NOT happening if the capacitor container is demolished.
And then of course, you have your mechanics and garages .........
After several garages have been blown away with all staff included, probably no one would agree to work on these cars any more.~
