Me, I enjoy Linux, and think things are improving daily. I see more and more debate on different forums, and the people who want Linux to be made less geeky seem to be gaining ground. The only real objection I have to the debate is that people tend to present it as an either-or thing - either geeky or dumbed-down Microsoft-style. Actually, Microsoft has a good point: Make it easy to use and most people won't care about the price or safety, or about MS's crookedness.
It would be good to have Linux go both ways: a dummy-proof GUI, with a command line available for geeks and learners. That satisfies everybody (except those on the forums where I've proposed it - they want it all one way or the other :^>).
I'm getting back into virtualization with Fedora 10 using qemu/kvm. It's interesting.
