I had two questions about Vector which I couldn't answer from the reviews:
1) I read it uses Lilo, and that it has bootloader problems at install. True?
2) Can Vector actually use the slackware repositories?
I understand Vector is extremely fast. Wonder what Moblin will do when it comes out?!
I'm about finished with my project ( the one that got set back to November by a glitch). I have catalogged about 80 distros that I want to try, omitting duplications and distros that don't seem to have any real differences from the others, or any "neat" features. Right now I'm experimenting with Mint 6 as a base for virtualizing those distros. Trying to decide between Virtualbox and Qemu/KVM. Any thoughts?
BTW, it's good to see that you haven't abandoned your old faithful girlfriend Linux for that flashy new Mac :^).
