Another interesting story about Apple Inc.
I had heard of Psystar, sorta, but hadn't really noticed. Wikipedia has a summary article about Psystar, and Macworld has an initial review (looks like there still are some kinks in the new machine). They also sell machines with Linux or Windows installed.
Me, I like it when a little guy can trip up a big guy. Monopolies and predators (Apple, Microsoft, many more) hurt all of us IMHO. Psystar has apparently made headway against Apple, and I applaud that.
However, Gizmodo thought it was a hoax, at first anyway. Apparently a lot of question initially as to whether Psystar actually existed but (go all the way down the page) the lost has now been found. And they seem to like it, maybe: video/review here, and some internal pics here. In fact, Psystar might actually be getting a little bit ahead of Apple, introducing technologies that Apple doesn't yet support, like partial blu-ray.
Jack, maybe you could check Psystar out and tell how their machine works???

Vista has taught us that it is easier to change the specification to fit the program than vice versa.
