Well I downloaded

A VMware image of PC-BSD to try out, since I've heard so many good things about the BSD OS. In addition, I downloaded the .ISO installation so I could create a VM image myself -as an alternatie.

Once again, I couldn't get anything to work. The VM image played ok but there were mouse issues which wouldn't let me close down the browser. I had to reset the machine about 3 times to get out of the hang.

The .iso installed up to the point of inserting my name and password but the Next button remained greyed out and I couldn't go any further.

I just really wonder what it is about these packages that makes them so unworkable.
