Well no. If I can't make it work in VMware, I'm NOT likely to get it working in something else less developed and primarily-made-for-Linux. I think I'd sooner try it in Microsoft's VirtualPC first.

There must be something wrong with the packages because the PCBSD image WAS made for VMware specifically.
