I may take another go

With the VMware image. The VMware tools, of course, only work with VMware. I've got them showing as a tarball of some kind and it's a KDE desktop but I can't seem to unzip and install the package.

The iso I downloaded hangs at the point where user name and password are entered. The Continue button is greyed out no matter what so ...... it's no good for installing to anything it seems.

Thus, I'm stuck with VMware unless I download the iso again.
