The multimedia keys on my wireless keyboard function flawlessly in Ubuntu 9.04 just as they do in Vista! In Ubuntu 9.04, I press the email key, and the default Evolution email client launches! I press the volume up or down keys, and the volume goes up or down. I press the voip key, and Skype launches. I press the home page key, and Firefox launches and I'm at my home page! Only TWO distros I've tried have been able to do this with ALL the multimedia keys and they are Mandriva and now Ubuntu!
