Remember Global Warming? As I remember, it was our home-grown Global-Warming genius, Al Gore, who first got us all believing ethanol was the next best thing after sliced bread. However, about a year or so ago, we found out that making large amounts of corn (apparently the best green for ethanol) into fuel subtracted from the food supply and drove food prices way up. That helped, particularly in 3rd-world countries and for the poor everywhere.
Now we find out that Ethanol makes more smog than gasoline and busts up your motor to boot.
Thank you, Mr Gore!!! (Can we get up some kind of prize for him?)
