I have it installed in my Mepis 8 guest, and it's very nice. However, Opera 10:00 didn't work out at all in the Sabayon guest. I installed the latest build, 4340, and it was very slow, hanging up on subsidiary gets for icons and pics. Also, it was hanging up on gets for ads even though privoxy was installed and working. I'm back to Opera 9.64 in Sabayon and it operates normally.
Guess I need to check if Ver 10:00 in Mepis is the latest build... I would guess it isn't. Build 4340 did have one interesting-looking feature that I'd like to test: It has a turbo mode which can be enabled in Preferences > Web Pages, at the top. There's also an icon in View > Toolbars > Customize > Buttons > Browser View to enable/disable turbo mode from the toolbar. I couldn't tell any difference in the Sabayon install and it's not available in the build in Mepis, so I need to upgrade it if I can.
