Naahhh. In 1947 I was only 9 years old and lived in Fredericksburg, Va. I didn't know anything much about Texas then, except that my mother and grandmother were from there. Here's all I know about it now. It looks like it must have been pretty exciting; if it weren't for the 10-gallon hats I might think these pictures were of Hiroshima.
