I found a native linux version of Chromium on the dvd in the latest LinuxFormatMag. It's chromium-browser_2.0.175.0_i386.deb, not Chrome for Windows. It's an early alpha and most of the features don't work. I haven't figured out yet how to make it go through Privoxy so I'm facing the internet naked. I didn't realize how many ads there are on this page! :^>
I also can't make this post in Chromium; it won't acccept drag'n'drop and crashes when I try to copy/paste, so I'm posting from Opera 10b1.
But it is pretty fast.
